    I recently read a great article about why smart people believe dumb things. This article brought up some excellent points on why there are so many “experts” in the nutrition and fitness fields. You know those people I am talking about - the ones who only eat Keto because you burn more calories or the ones who are doing plant based because of some documentary or those who don’t eat carbs because a study showed you could be leaner and faster without them or the ones who do Peloton cycling and have never been leaner in their lives. And these people tend to be the ones who have a very large voice in the fitness/nutrition community and for some reason we like to believe them.
